People!!!!!!!!!!! I'm also back I guess. Life has been good the past couple of weeks/months. I passed my final exams so now I am officially done with high school, it feels so good! after the exams I spent two months in Aruba where I had THE TIME OF MY LIFE!! And next saturday I am moving to the UK to work as an au pair for 10 months. Which means I can't be at the concert november 23rd ... That kind of sucks but I hope my UK-adventure will be a great experience and I will see you next time, I hope! And it's really weird to think that I was 13 years old when I joined the 'maria mena world' and went to her concert for the first time in Groningen. I'm a complete different person now! Time really does fly...

Noortje - maybe Maria even comes to the UK to play? I'm really hoping that she will do at least one concert over there! I hope you will have a good time being in Ascot. I've just begun my third year at the university. these days I think it's particularly much fun to study. since January of this year I seem to have found a love for reading theorists in order to question their conclusions and also using their conclusions when I study the literature that I study. I find it strange that I've listened to Maria since I was 12 and now I'm 22. I guess it is a proof of my long "career" of listening to brilliant songwriters

Yesterday I discovered that after 7 years (2004 white turns blue release) I am still a huuuuge fan! As Dees said, That's live reminded me as well that Maria has an amazing voice, and I think it even got better. She sang 4 songs: Viktoria, Homeless, This Too Shall Pass and All This Time! It's gonna be aired 1st of october, and they filmed it with camera as well so I think that will be online after the show has aired on radio. The show was so much fun, and I am gratefull to Stefan that I could join him! It was really nice to see familiar faces as well: Dees, Cynthia636 ! Maria was so pleased to see that her fans are still loyal, and she stated: a few years back you all went to school, now you have jobs!! Well I am still going to school, but I am doing a mini internship for 10 weeks so basically I am working at the moment. Anyway I love Maria, she came up to our table as soon as she could, and when she sat on stage and saw me she did a little piece sign. I can't believe she still recognizes these people after two years of not seeing us! Bless Maria, she is the most down to earth artist ever. Oh and one thing she told me, the album is much darker, but she already mentioned that once I think. Great day!

I've had such a busy week this week, long days of lectures at the university and meetings with the magazine that I'm in the editor's board for. I really like hanging out with these people. during the weekends I spend my time writing, it's such an inspiring way to spend time because I always get to explore my own writing and my feelings. Ricardo, you made me curious: how is it at the internship? do you learn lots of new things?

Noortje - it would be really great if you get to join all of us on the 23rd! *keeping fingers crossed* I guess I'm also back here... lol... a lot has been happening in my life the past years. I never stopped listening to Maria, and she never stopped inspiring me... Anyway, since 2009 I've been in a clinic twice again for my eating disorder - and still fighting - waiting for my next treatment now. Been home for 9 months now and it takes ages just to get an intake for a new treatment. Anyway, I'm trying to stay positive I'm so happy I got to see Maria again at That's Live and I can't wait until November to see her 3 times again. Woohoo!
